The R. family has a new little addition! Last November they saw the first image of a beautiful little girl from Ukraine on the website Reese’s Rainbow (a Down Syndrome adoption ministry). By the next day Richard & Laura knew that little girl was meant to be a part of their family. After many months, two international trips, and lots of prayers, Elizabeth Joy was finally coming home! The R. family asked if I would fly out to Houston to document her arrival and I could not have been more honored to be asked. They are such an amazing family – they already had four of the sweetest children you will meet and Richard and Laura are such God honoring, loving parents. Laura kept a wonderful blog of the whole adoption process (HERE) and it is so awesome to see how God worked in everything they went through. And now here they are, after 5+ months, with their new baby girl.
The “crew” awaiting the arrival of Richard, Laura, and Elizabeth (Libby)!
Noah was rocking the sunglasses.
Luke played a game of peek-a-boo while waiting!
So many family and friends came out for Libby’s arrival.
All eyes were glued to the doors ushering in arriving passengers.
Here they come! They’re here!

Let me just say, she will be a BLESSING to your family. My little fellow, Elisha Caleb, was born almost six years ago (in August) with Down syndrome. The Lord knew how much we needed a little miracle like him. Congratulations!
