August 1st was a wonderful day because it was the day that my adorable little niece was born! After doing Katie’s maternity photos I was getting so excited to take my little niece-to-be’s newborn photos! The wait was worth it (she was “18 days over due”… although we think her due date was wrong to begin with!). Look out little Miss Avery Karis, you have a lifetime full of modeling for my camera ahead of you!

Awe. When I was holding her, I don’t remember my babies being so small. Taylor was the same size Avery was at birth so she was little. I love her eyes! You’re going to be a great Aunt Shannon!
Great job! Perfect. She’ll probably grow up thinking Aunt Shannon has a camera permanently has a camera attached to her face.
