Jake & Rachel {Wedding}

“And I’m thinking,
Ooh I can’t live without you

Two is better than one”

Rachel & Jake’s wedding day started off rainy & grey, but that didn’t set the mood for the day. Inside of Impact Church you found some of the most excited & happy friends and family eagerly awaiting the wedding of the century – Jake & Rachel! I loved seeing everyone working together preparing for the day, so cool!

Jake & Rachel it was so wonderful being a part of your beautiful day. In the case of you two, two is definitely better than one. I am sure God is going to use the both of you for amazing things! Also a big thank you to my second shooter, Lydia! Lydia you’re amazing! 🙂

Not only was Rachel’s dress stunning, it was a HUGE surprise. Only two people even knew what the dress looked like.
And let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!




The lovely Rachel wore her mom’s veil, so incredibly special!





While the girls were getting all done up with hair & make up, the guys were doing their thing – chilling 🙂



Mr. Jake was definitely looking like husband material! (PS your suit was awesome Jake!)


There were lots of emotional moments of the day, but one of the most emotional was the Rachel’s dad seeing her for the first time.

Followed by the bridesmaids seeing their Rachel in her dress. Their reactions were priceless!

And finally the time had come, ceremony time!

Jake’s reaction was perfect. His face lit up the moment he saw his beautiful bride!




Jake’s vows were incredibly sweet – not a dry eye in the house!

Rachel’s vows covered everything from spiderman costumes, to when she will get rid of her old TOM’s,
to how she wanted to be a loving, God honoring wife.

When you can make the best man cry, you know you’re on the right track! 🙂


And finally…. THE kiss!

This was such a fun bridal party! Loved their energy and excitement through out the whole day!

What did I tell you, these girls were FUN!

We were so blessed to with gorgeous weather and lighting just in time for the portraits! I felt like I was photographing a couple of models!



Rachel, you are gorgeous beyond words.

Jake absolutely loves Spiderman…. so I loved the fact that Spidey made an appearance on their cake!

Jake & Rachel’s first dance to My Beloved was beautiful.

And then it was party time. This group sure knows how to dance…. you should have seen them when Gangnam Style came on!!


When it was time for the newlyweds to leave, they had a balloon send off! So fun!

The bridal party gave them one final push into the world of wedded bliss!


Congratulations Jake & Rachel! The two of you are amazing together, your love for each other is truly a testimony to God!
