Fun fact about me – I am 50% Canadian! My Dad is from California but my mom was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta! When I was growing up I spent almost every summer in Canada & I still make it up there every chance I get to visit family. When my photographer friend, Kristen Booth, asked if I would be interested in assisting her with a wedding in Calgary, I said absolutely yes! And I am so glad I was able to witness the beautiful wedding of Michael & Emily. They held their ceremony at the gorgeous Reader’s Rock Garden followed by the reception at Heritage Park – a place I have lots of fun childhood memories at!
Michael & Emily were so sweet together. I loved the way Michael’s face lit up when he saw Emily walking down the aisle. Emily looked like a bride straight out of a bohemian fairytale. Their wedding was such a dream!

After we finished up the portraits we made our way over to the adorable Heritage Park. All the buildings are authentic historic buildings.
