Romantic Sacramento Wedding {Giorgos & Jenna}

When Jenna asked me to photograph her wedding I was so excited, her romantic Sacramento wedding day couldn’t get here fast enough!  I’ve known her for a number of years so it’s always that much sweeter to capture the day for a friend.  Jenna and Giorgos met through work, but things weren’t set in motion until a work event turned into something much more… after the work portion of the day ended everyone else dispersed, but the two of them sat talking for hours.  The rest is history!

Jenna and Giorgo’s day started off in downtown Sacramento where the girls all got ready together.  (Spoiler alert: at the end of this post see a special appearance from Chewbacca with the groom.  It just happened to be the same day of an anime convention nearby so there were a lot of people walking around dressed up for that.  Such a great photo op! haha!)  Jenna and her ladies were not sporting any Star Wars costumes though.  They looked lovely in blush pink and Jenna was stunning in her dress from Bride to Be Couture.  Jenna has such a timeless beauty to her.  I probably could have edited the whole wedding in black and white and loved it to pieces because it just has that elegant feel to it.

After photos at the State Capitol we made our way to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church for the ceremony and reception.  Both were beautiful with every detail thought out.  I’ve also decided Greek weddings are now a favorite of mine simply based on the food alone – such a delicious spread!  Food aside, everyone in attendance, and all the vendors, were so sweet and having the loveliest time.  No Greek wedding would be complete without the traditional dancing, it was so much fun to be there for that.

Thank you Jenna and Giorgos for entrusting me to capture your day.  You two are both amazing people (not to mention a beautiful couple – I probably could have taken you two on a 5 hour photoshoot and still wanted to take more photos – I just didn’t want to stop!).  I am so happy for you both!
