I get so excited over any chance I get to take Old Sacramento wedding photos… so when Sara and Zach asked me to be their photographer for their beautiful wedding at the Firehouse in Old Sac, I was on cloud nine. We started off the day taking getting ready photos in at the stylish Kimpton Sawyer Hotel. Sara looked beyond incredible, I mean, just take a look at Zach’s reaction to seeing her during their first look. It was so sweet! But the picture perfect moments did not end at the first look. We had so much fun going all over Old Sac getting some fun bridal party and bride and groom portraits.
I don’t think I saw the smiles ever leave Sara and Zach’s faces – they were beaming all day long! I don’t blame them though, it was the perfect day for them to marry the love of their life! The Firehouse was a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony and reception. It’s walled courtyard with trees, vines, and twinkly lights creates such a romantic mood. And the food, one word – delicious! If all of that is not a fantastic start to your marriage, I don’t know what is! 🙂
Congratulations Sara and Zach! It was such a privilege to capture your day. It was lovely start to finish and I hope the photos are something you can always cherish and remember the day by!
